The Rt Revd. Andrew Proud attended the licensing of Hungerford Revd. Mike Saunders and his wife, Alison, in March. The couple regularly walk the towpath around their local church, St Lawrence’s, which is right next to the canal in Hungerford. Last year they organised a towpath team to improve the towpath from the town up river which was very awkward for people walking on it or families with prams.
