Debbie’s off to pasture new

Deputy National Waterways Chaplain, Debbie Nouwen, has left the Waterways Chaplaincy to become the Assistant Curate in the Benefice of ‘Lepton, Flockton and Emley’ in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Her ordination was on the 29th June in Wakefield Cathedral.

“Thank you so much for all the WWC’s who joined me on this very special day at Wakefield Cathedral. It was a complete joy to see so many waterways chaplains in the congregation. Although I may have swapped my gillet for a clerical robe, my heart will always be with waterways chaplaincy. I am a boater at heart, and I have always loved been a part of the work that you do. Keep pressing on, and my love as always, upwards and onwards Debbie xxx”

Thanks you so much for all you worked for and blessed the work of the Waterways Chaplaincy.
